AMMAN — Fair weather is forecast until Sunday in most regions of the Kingdom, a meteorologist said on Thursday.
“Most Jordanian cities will witness pleasant summer conditions during the day and cool weather at night in the comings days,” said Omar Dajani, the chief weather forecaster for Arabiaweather.com.
Temperatures during the day will be close to the annual average of 32ºC for this time of the year, ranging between 30ºC and 32ºC, and dropping to between 18ºC and 20ºC at night, Dajani told The Jordan Times.
“Weather conditions in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba for the next three days are forecast to be relatively hot,” the meteorologist said, adding that high temperatures in these areas will range between 37ºC and 39ºC during the day and drop to 28ºC-29ºC at night.
Starting from Monday until the end of the month, most regions in the country will gradually see relatively hot weather conditions during the day and fair weather at night, Dajani forecast.
Mercury levels during the day will range between 34ºC and 35ºC in most cities, dropping to a low of 24ºC at night, he said.
The last week of July in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba will be hot, with temperatures exceeding 40ºC, the weather forecaster added.
