AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Wednesday held for the second day in a row closed-door meetings with members of the Lower House's blocs on the policy statement, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The meetings came as part of the government's dialogue with MPs seeking their confidence.
Razzaz held several separate meetings with the house's Watan, Initiative, and Nahda Blocs consisting of 44 members.
On Thursday, the premier is scheduled to hold meeting with the Islamist Reform Bloc and independent lawmakers.
Regarding the "high expectations" created by commitments included in the policy statement, Razzaz was quoted as saying that the government is aware of that and has taken immediate measures and that there will be mid-term measures during the first 100 days of the government's mandate.
