Police thwart attempt to sell fake artefacts

AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) media office on Monday said police foiled an attempt to sell fake antiques for JD300,000.
Following up on a tip, the police, managed to identify the suspect, who was detained, according to the PSD media office.
Three statues and 18 coins were found in his possession.
