PSD announces border crossing opening hours during Eid

AMMAN — The Public Security Department on Tuesday announced the working hours for border crossings from October 2 to October 16.

The Jordan Valley border crossing will be open for passengers from 8am until noon on Friday, October 3.

On Saturday, October 4, the border will be closed to passengers and cargo and will reopen Sunday, operating between the hours of 6:30am and 7pm through Wednesday.

On Thursday, October 9, the border will be open for travellers from 6:30am until 9pm.

The Wadi Araba crossing will be closed to passengers between October 2 and October 16, except for Wednesday, October 8, when it will be open to passengers between 8am and noon.

The King Hussein Bridge will be open to passengers on Thursday, October 2, at 6am.

The last bus will leave at 5:30pm, but the border will remain open for official delegations, diplomats and UN employees until 8pm.

On Sunday, October 5, the border opens to passengers at noon.
