PSD chief visits Royal Police Academy, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah on Tuesday highlighted the importance of academic and training credentials in enhancing the effectiveness of field security work.

During a visit to the Royal Police Academy (RPA) on Tuesday, Maaytah emphasised the need to enhance the capabilities of security personnel through academic and training endeavours, striking a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the field.

Additionally, he visited the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit under the Preventive Security Directorate, where he highlighted the need to provide comprehensive support by equipping the unit with state-of-the-art equipment, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
