Regional company to donate JD20,000 for cancer centre

AMMAN — Emerging Markets Payments (EMP) recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) to donate JD20,000 for the benefit of the King Hussein Cancer Centre (KHCC)’s expansion project.
The regional e-payment company will donate the amount over two years, with KHCC receiving JD10,000 annually, a joint statement from the KHCF and EMP said.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, HH Princess Dina Mired, director general of KHCF, said “this generous donation will bring hope to cancer patients as they receive treatment at one of the best cancer centres in the world and the region.”
