Safadi meets French FM over bilateral cooperation

AMMAN — Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Wednesday met with his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian in Paris, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, Safadi and Le Drian discussed boosting cooperation between Jordan and France in the security and political fields.
Discussions also covered measures to implement the outcomes of His Majesty King Abdullah's meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron last June.
The two ministers also went over the Palestinian cause, the Syrian crisis and the fight against terrorism.
Safadi briefed his counterpart on the outcomes of the Jordanian, Russian and US negotiations related to the establishment of de-escalation zones in the south of Syria, according to Petra.
