Safadi discusses Syrian updates with French counterpart

AMMAN — Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Tuesday phoned his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian over the latest developments in the Syrian crisis and means to achieve positive results in endeavours seeking to reach a political solution to the crisis.

Both ministers highlighted the importance of intensifying efforts aimed at ending the crisis through a political solution that can stop the suffering of Syrians and maintain the territorial integrity of the country according to the UN Security Council Resolution 2254, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Safadi and Le Drian also went over Jordanian-French ties and expressed keenness to further develop them in all fields.
