Sanad App to provide 450 services by end of 2023 — gov’t

AMMAN — The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship on Monday said that the number of services provided through the "Sanad" application will reach 450 by the beginning of 2023, noting that the number of Sanad users has increased, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The ministry noted that the number of Sanad stations reached 500 stations, where user accounts can be activated for free.
User accounts can also be activated through the applications of affiliated banks, including Arab Bank, Etihad Bank, Housing Bank, Capital Bank, the ministry said, adding that other banks will be added successively.
The list of stations locations can be accessed through the “near me” option in the Sanad application or by visiting the Sanad website.
The application features services provided by the Civil Status and Passports Department, the Drivers and Vehicles Licencing Department, Social Security Corporation, Health Insurance Department, Public Security Directorate, the Greater Amman Municipality, Land and Survey Department, Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Industry and Trade The application also includes the digital documents of the Civil Status and Passports Department (civil status card, birth certificate, family book), the Health Insurance Department (health insurance card), the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department (vehicle license, driving license), and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (certificate university).
The digital documents are encrypted and protected with a QR code to verify their authenticity, Petra reported.
