AMMAN — Department of Land and Survey Director General Moeen Al Sayegh announced on Saturday the launch of an SMS service to inform owners of any transaction involving their properties.
Speaking at the annual meeting of senior officials in the department, Sayegh said 86 per cent of national numbers were input into the system and linked to residents’ properties, advising property owners to provide their phone numbers to the department.
He also highlighted eight new e-services the department is working to implement before the end of 2016 in collaboration with the ICT Ministry. Sayegh also mentioned efforts to meet the department’s 2012-2017 plan aimed at providing easier, confidential and more accurate services.
