Wedding celebratory gunfire claims life in Maan, suspect arrested

AMMAN — Security personnel have arrested the suspect in connection with a celebratory gunfire incident at a wedding in Maan, which resulted in the death of a man, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson said on Wednesday. He added that a hospital in Maan earlier in the day received a wounded individual who was struck by a stray bullet during the wedding and was later pronounced dead, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The spokesperson said that investigations resulted in the arrest of the suspect and seizure of the weapon involved.
