Culture minister, British ambassador discuss enhancing cultural cooperation

AMMAN — Culture Minister Basma Nisour on Thursday discussed with the British Ambassador to Jordan Edward Oakden prospects of cooperation in the cultural field and means of enhancing cultural ties between the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Nisour briefed the envoy on the ministry's core projects within its strategic plan to boost cultural development and reach out to various segments of the society. For his part, Oakden stressed the importance of fostering "a wider level" of cooperation between the two Kingdoms.
