First low-cost flight from Abu Dhabi to Aqaba lands at King Hussein Int'l Airport

AMMAN — King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba on Thursday welcomed the first low-cost flight, a Wizz Air flight carrying 239 tourists, coming from Abu Dhabi.
Wizz Air, a Hungarian low-cost airline, started flights connecting Aqaba and Abu Dhabi with a frequency of two flights a week, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Aqaba Airports Company has managed to connect the port city with 24 European destinations and Russia at a very low cost, according to Petra.
