FM, Ukrainian counterpart talk ties over phone

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, in a phone call with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, on Monday discussed means to bolster cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture and tourism.
Both ministers focused on the economic and health challenges caused by the spread of the coronavirus, stressing the importance of joint international efforts to combat its repercussions, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Safadi expressed appreciation of Ukraine’s stance towards the two-state solution, which would lead to the establishment of fair and comprehensive peace in the region in accordance with international law and international legitimacy resolutions.
The two ministers agreed on continuing to collaborate and coordinate in hopes of holding a meeting soon to enhance bilateral ties.
