Hneifat visits Romanian veterinary institute

AMMAN — Minister of Agriculture Khalid Hneifat, on Thursday called for specialised Jordanian-Romanian skill building courses to be held for employees of Jordanian veterinary and plant health laboratories, and to transfer Romanian expertise to Jordan.
During his visit to the Romanian veterinary institute and plant health laboratories, Hneifat, accompanied by Petre Daea, the Romanian Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, as well as an accompanying delegation, the institute’s director briefed Hneifat on his institution’s responsibilities, its laboratories and its affiliated centres throughout Romania.
Hneifat praised the technology used and the organised work. Furthermore, the minister was given an overview of the laboratory’s work procedures, the tests employed, the activities and tasks of the plant health laboratories, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
