Jordan, Lebanon discuss cooperation on environment projects

BEIRUT — Environment Minister Taher Shakhshir met his Lebanese counterpart Mohammad Machnouk on Friday and discussed prospects for further cooperation.
During the meeting, held on the sidelines of Shakhshir’s two-day official visit to Beirut, the ministers expressed their willingness to establish more joint environment projects, particularly in the areas of waste management and pollution reduction.
