Jordan municipal sector to benefit from Dutch expertise

AMMAN — Interior Minister of Hussein Majali and Municipal Affairs Minister Walid Masri on Friday were briefed on Dutch experience in local governance, decentralisation and modern administration.
During a meeting with Dutch officials in Amsterdam, the ministers looked into how Jordan can benefit from the Netherlands’ experience to rehabilitate landfills in the Kingdom.
The Dutch officials expressed their readiness to assist the municipal sector by providing technical and administrative assistance to Jordan.
