AMMAN — More than 14 per cent of employees in the Kingdom are not subscribed to the Social Security Corporation (SSC), corporation spokesperson Musa Sbeihi said on Tuesday.
During a meeting with Tafileh's imams and preachers, Sbeihi called for raising awareness among workers on their social security rights and for promoting SSC campaigns that aim to acquaint employees with their rights, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He called on employees to notify the SSC if their employers refuse to register them with the corporation, warning against the dangerous repercussions of such practices on individuals and the society.
