Power generator operating badia well stolen

NORTHERN BADIA — Unidentified individuals have stolen the power generator operating the pump in a well in the Northeastern Badia two weeks after its installation, Marwan Turki, director of the region’s water department, said on Tuesday.

The department received the generator as a grant from the German Development Bank to provide the Dafyaneh and Khusha-Salatin areas with water, Turki said.

He noted that the department informed police about the incident to track down and detain the suspects.
