Titled "Towards an Inclusive Society", the event falls within a cooperation programme between the HCD and the Ministry of Education and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ)-implemented Promoting Quality in Inclusive Education in Jordan (PROMISE) project, commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
The forum aims to bring together experts in the field of inclusive education, civil society organisations, international organisations and the private sector in order to discuss methods for unifying and strengthening efforts in the field of persons with disabilities empowerment and to help them meet their right to an education within an inclusive educational environment, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
