AMMAN — The Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) launched its Advanced Leadership Diploma Programme for school principals on Tuesday.
The programme is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the University of Jordan and the University of Connecticut, according to a QRTA statement.
Thirty-five public school principals from Jordan’s central region are currently enrolled in the programme, and the QRTA intends to expand it to private schools in the next few months.
The programme, funded by Global Affairs Canada, is aligned with existing leadership programmes at the Ministry of Education, according to the statement.
Participants will receive a joint professional diploma in advanced leadership from QRTA and the University of Jordan when the programme is concluded.
